Volunteer with ETTI

Applications are welcome for short and long-term assignments from qualified instructors in ESL, hospitality and tourism.

ETTI also welcomes expressions of interest from prospective volunteers with skills in project management, monitoring and evaluation, small business training, publicity and media and communications. 

Volunteers can study Chinese and Tibetan languages and experience the cultural and natural diversity of Eastern Tibet during their assignment.

Australian, New Zealand and US residents have the opportunity to consider a formal volunteer assignment with one of the agencies listed below:

Australian Volunteers International (AVI) mobilises Australian volunteers for assignments in China of twelve to eighteen months duration.  ETTI has worked in partnership with AVI since 2005.

Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) places Australians aged 18-30 on short-term assignments in China from three to twelve months. AYAD began working with ETTI in 2006.

Volunteer in Asia (VIA) sponsors volunteers from the United States with the goal of increasing understanding between the US and Asia.
