Literacy
Illiteracy remains a great impediment to the life chances of young people in Eastern Tibet.
ETTI's literacy program helps ethnic minorities improve their skills both in Chinese-the national language, and in their native language.
Using innovative teaching methodologies, ETTI is developing a Tibetan literacy program that makes it easier for young Tibetans to read and write Tibetan.
ETTI's literacy programs celebrate cultural heritage and provide new economic opportunities.
