The Eastern Tibetan Training Institute (ETTI) is a not-for-profit organization working to improve the livelihoods of remote communities in China's western regions through training-based poverty alleviation programs. ETTI is a registered community school directed by an international board, staffed by local & international professionals.

Study

The Eastern Tibet Training Institute offers a range of Chinese and Tibetan language courses and study tours for international students.


Study Chinese and Tibetan language in one of China's most fascinating locales.

Language courses are offered all year round with the option of live-in intensive programs in a Tibetan rural setting.

Language courses can be combined with study tours, adventure activities such as horse riding, trekking and climbing. ETTI also arranges village home stays in Tibetan and other ethnic minority villages.
